I have been having some issues in the last few days. Yesterday when I was transfering stuff to my memory stick it was taking an exobent amount of time so i canceled the transfer. It stayed on the canceling screen for like 2 or 3 hours before I just rebooted. then I was transfering stuff off my friends my book on to my freeagent pro and my windows explorer kept crashing stopping the transfers. this is a brand new laptop and still with in the best buy 14 day return window. I am not sure what the issue it. i have all updates installed any help would be appreciated.

I'd suggest you to run a memory test for a couple hours.

I'd do a clean install of windows. Portable one makes them for vista and xp. Then without all the bloatware bogging down your system, and believe me it's bogged, you can better diagnose if there's a real problem.

Doing a recovery will not solve your issue. All you can do is hold down the right click and drag and then left click copy. This is a Vista problem not Sony.

I figured the issue is with Vista i am suprised that there isnt a fix yet. Or some really outraged SZ owners. I love my laptop but this is rather annoying
