Okay, I got my fan fixed, but this is a different problem. Yesterday I started playing a couple MMOFPS games on my Vaio. They run great and I can kick some serious kebab on this little beaut, but I have a problem. This morning, upon turning on my laptop, the bootscreen began beeping repeatedly, as though a key had gotten stuck. I checked them all and nothing. Finally got the OS to boot up and one of my keys no longer does anything... and my shift key messes up on the exclamation point (note that the one key is just fine, and has no problems... 111... see? =P) and the shift key does fine with any other key as well... After a few minutes of troubleshooting, I noticed the W key did indeed work but after pressing it, it would continue typing the letter w as if it was stuck... It still does this. Given that it does this in the POST, I'm thinking it isn't a driver issue; and I've removed the W key to confirm it isn't dirty, as well as removing the keyboard to check for any notable damage, either on the connector or keyboard itself. Any ideas, guys? Really want to get this fixed...

One idea springing to mind is broken keyboard - let's hope it isn't.
