Hi, I'm going to post this in the Dell forum as well. I just saw that there is a deal at Office Depot for a SZ110/B for 1099 which sounds amazing! I was a day away from placing at order at Dell.com for a decenly spec'd out d620 system (Latitude line). I am loyal to neither brand since I've been mostly a Thinkpad user and look for the durability of Thinkpads...but the size and performance of the SZ is hard to ignore.

I read a little on the SZ110 and I understand that it's kinda like the entry level. Have there been quality issues?

I'd liek to make a decision before Sat night...

    Any input would be helpful!

Uses: General internet content creation, business use, no gaming, but some lite 3D cad work, and the occasional video editing (more photo and graphc design)...

I think the Dell will be a little more durable.
