I decided to run a few tests to compare my laptops. Note I'm not running this in a lab, these are just for kicks. I didn't do clean reboots or anything before running tests.

-Laptop #1 Sager 9860, P4-3.6ghz HT with 1gb, dual 7200 raid 0 drive, nVidia go 6800 pci express.
    -Laptop #2 (from ref database, Dell 700m -- small 12" Pentium M 1600)
    -Laptop #3 Sony SZ120
-Laptop #4 Sony SZ120 in Stamina Mode

My analysis? Its fast enough! Given the extreme size and weight of my Sager 9860 and that the P4 660 series CPU's were top of the line just 10 months ago, it is nice to know this petite laptop is faster in almost all tests.

Not sure why the 3D tests were so low. Oh well I'm not in a lab. Wait for Anandtech to do a real benchmark.

If you are into gaming at all it would be interesting how the Sager compares with the Sony on a particular game on similar quality settings, if it's not asking too much that is. Anyway appreciate your tests! I'm still on the fence as to get an SZ or Macbook Pro. The Premium models are pretty much the same price but I can get about $200 off the MPB due to a gov't discount.
