I just got a SZ120P/B in the USA, and tried to install a Japanese version of Windows XP.

I'm following all the instructions per the Sony Support site, but it looks like the PC always bombs out after installing the modem drivers. It just freezes up and can't do anything but a hard shut down.

Is there anybody on the forum that has installed a Japanese OS on their Vaio, preferrably the same model I am working with?

    Greatly appreciated.
