    SZ140P overheating when charging.

    My fathers SR140P (which is probably 4/5 years old) overheats when it's charging.
    If I unplug the charger the temperature drops from 80+ C to 47C.
    Does anyone who what this could be due to? (Switched chargers... same thing).

    Sounds like thermal problem...only manifests when cpu/gpu run full speed. Did you try cleaning the heatsink fins?

    Check your power profiles, you may have the cooling set to low when plugged in and normal on battery.
