    Hi,

I'm losing my mind here. I've never really bothered with BT...a while back I think I remember trying to get my Blackberry to work via BT by using Widcomm etc, but failed as far as I recall.

I've decided it's round two, I want it to work with lots of things, my Blackberry Storm, my MP3 player, a printer etc etc, but it's just not happening.

I can pair my BB with my Vaio using the toshiba drivers, but it's not exactly a smooth process. Having initially shaken hands, they ignore eachother, and the BB Desktop software can't find the phone.

I've read that the Widcomm drivers are the solution to most BT problems - I've followed:

    http://trevinchow.com/blog/2006/12/29/simplify-bluetooth-on-your-sony-sz-series-laptop/

tried it several times, nothing. I get as far as 'cancelling' the installation after setup fails to find the BT device, but then windows decides to install all it's own generic drivers automatically, which seemingly screws up the Widcomm installation.

If anyone has been through a similar process and can give any advice I'd appreciate it!

    Thanks,

    Tom
