Three weeks ago we bought a SZ220 at the Sony Store (Canada) for $1999.00 - that was their discounted price to make way for the SZ320.

The Sony Store got the SZ320's in today... it's a Core2 and has 120 gig HD versus a 100 gig...

Does anyone know if there are any other differences/improvements?

    The SZ320 is $2399.00.

Is it worth me to exchange my SZ220 for the for the 320 ... or search online for a decent price on the 320?

    Thanks in advance for advice.

If you're not hesitant about ordering from the US you can get an SZ340 for around $1700-1800USD, which after conversion and GST will still be cheaper than the $2400CDN + tax Sony is charging.

The Core2 is worth the little extra on its own... better processor that's more energy efficient, 64bit, and a larger level 2 cache.

Core2 was certainly one of my key purchasing factors of the sz3xx series

Core2 is also the reason why I waited so long.

Energy efficient = produce less head, more battery time (just a little bit)
64 Bit = ready for the future, at least thats what AMD said 2 years ago
Large L2 Cashe = MORE SPEEEEEEEEEEEED
