    SZ220/B clean install and SmartWi problem?

    I did a clean install following the instructions on a SZ220/B. Everything works fine except one minor problem -- the boot time is now increased by around 90 seconds. The welcome screen seems to be stuck there for an eternity before coming back alive. The reason is revealed in Event Viewer, "The SmartWiService service hung on starting".

    Well, the service isn't really hung. It just took a little too long (I think), as SmartWi works fine after the computer finally comes back.

    Has anyone experienced same thing? The lengthy boot is really annoying.

    I have the sz220/b and don't have this problem after the clean install. I would recommend doing the install again and see if you've missed an app or added one that you don't need.
