Sony VGN-SZ230P less than 3 weeks old.

Has built in wireless (802.11b/g) and cingular wireless. Problem is that the WLAN / WWAN switcher utility called SmartWi does not work properly. It hangs trying to switch back from WWAN (cingular) mode to WLAN (WiFi 802.11b/g mode).

Consequently you are locked into WWAN (cingular) mode and can't get out without uninstalling drivers and killing processes.

    Anyone know of a fix?
