    SZ250p, AS5 and temps

    ok so I AS5'ed the chip and I am getting around 43-5 idle and 60-2 extended load, is that about as good as it will get or are you guys getting any better numbers out there?

    That seems to be about right.

    Under load the temperature can go higher... it just depends on what you're doing to put it under load. If you play a game that stresses both CPU & GPU, the temperature will go higher.

    By the way, I would like to know your SZ with 2.16GHz about the heat and speed as I am going decide to get one of the two models: 1) SZ (1.83GHz) or 2) SZ (2.16GHz). Tks

    Mine, under light or no load, idles at roughly 42-45 celsius. (Light load would amount to web browsing and emails)

    For heavy utilization of the CPU I haven't used any thing heavy lately so I'll download Prime95 later on and run it on both cores to see what temps it gets under full CPU load.

    I was getting about 65-7 after an hour or so of gaming, didnt like that very much. Idle was higher as well, much closer to 50. Its at 43 riight now so its doing much better than before at idle.
