SZ260P running on standard battery

Folks,

What is the longest usage time for this model without power on standard vaio battery? I've tried virtually everything, even in STAMINA mode with brightness level 3 or 4, wireless on and everything else off, my PC won't run for more than 2.5 probably 3 hours...and that's what the battery status say. I am not sure how long it takes the battery to drain.

Some people here talk about 4-5 hours of usage.. Does it make sense to buy the extra BPLC2 large capacity battery?

Please advise.

P.S. I've tried searching this forum, on this subject but tough luck..

 

If you own a premium (yes, you do), then the extended battery will add
just enough poundage so that your premium will weigh as much as a standard.
Also, the extended battery props up your notebook, so I'd say that's very
good for ventilation.

Tried Notebook Hardware Control?

I get around 4-4.5 hours on mine.

 

1) Yes, it will definitely help with the ventilation if it pops up a little - cause at the moment my laptop becomes pretty warm after 1-2 hour of usage

2) Yes, I have the premium model

3) Where can i find the notebook optimization guide and the hardware control? I've only tweaked the vaio power management schemes..

4) If you are using the extended battery, can you please provide some pics for clarity?
