Hey guys...I'm not really familiar with the whole laptop scene...but I'm trying to build a decent notebook because I'm going to be a bioengineering student coming this late September...I came across the SZ series and became interested in the 280P/C...however on the sonystyle.com website, I found that if you customize the 240 to the exact same specs as the 280, it comes out to be $2400 instead of $2850 for the 280. Are there any advantages to the 280 other than the case being carbon fiber that make it worth the extra $450? Thanks.

The premium (280) also has a different screen (thinner- uses LED backlight)
