    It's actually cheaper to buy the SZ3/2/1XX series from portableone.com in the US and have it shipped here to Canada.

    From my experience, buying from Ontario, Canada means I pay 15% tax (now 14%) plus shipping. But buying from P1 means i pay about 6-8% duty plus shipping. On 2500$-3000$CDN that's quite a bit of change.

    It seems that the specs are different from the US model.

    I really want to get it from P1 but duty + tax really adds up.

    You do know that you still have to pay tax in Canada too right?

    If you do that math, even with the duty it's still cheaper to buy it from the US (just don't ship with UPS).
