    SZ4 & SZ6/7 extended battery

    Hi all.

    Just wondering does the SZ6/7 battery fit into the SZ4?

    I've had the SZ4 for over a year now and I'm thinking of getting an extended battery. On sonystyle in europe, the extended battery for the SZ series is ~€400 whereas they are selling a separate battery for the SZ6 & 7 for about €100 cheaper.

    So I was just wondering is there a reason not to go with the cheaper option (power issues, not fitting etc.)?

    And by the way, has anyone seen the little error on selling replacement and extended batteries for the BZ and SR? The very last 2 products on the page linked below.

    It has been like this on the Sonystyle website since last week at least.

    I doubt if the SZ6/7 battery will fit your laptop. Sony recommends different batteries for models SZ5 and under. Also there was a post a little while ago of somebody that had an extended battery for the SZ3 that would not fit their SZ6 so i doubt that it would work for the SZ4.
