My SZ460 has the Cingular EDGE built in and I don't need it at home in the US. But when I travel to Europe or Asia, I definitely would like the ability to pop in a prepaid SIM and get internet access.
So three questions:
1. Is there even such a thing as a prepaid data SIM for such purposes as short-term access to a network without a commitment/contract?
2. Is the SIM in my SZ removeable?
3. Does Cingular themselves offer some international data roaming plans for those of us who only need a few weeks of connectivity?
TIA

I was looking into this option too, but I found out most countries do not offer a prepaid internet SIM card, well at least not worth it.
I figured, if you want internet access overseas, the cheapest way may be subscribe to Cingular and use it overseas, their overseas rate is similar to what you would pay overseas with short term prepaid SIM card.
By the way, the SIM is removable, it is hidden behind the battery, take off the battery and you can push the SIM card in and it will pops out.
I think cingular is charging around $20/MB for international access.
