The SZ4 is due out here in Europe in the next couple of weeks.

I can get it with 160Gb hard drive and T7400 (2.16Ghz) for around 2750Eu

Or with 120Gb hard drive and T7200 (2.0Ghz) for around 2400Eu

The extra hard dirve size would be nice, but would I notice any difference in performance from the T7400? Or would it be a waste of money?

    Thanks Kevin

Stick with the T7200 and save some money. The performance increase is hardly noticeable.

From my pass experience when reading the PC World magazine was that expert compare what was the difference between Core 2 duo 1.83 and Core 2 duo 2.0, they said you can hardly see the difference due to a very small change. So yeah I suggest you to save your money and get the 2.0 instead of 2.16.

thanks for your thoughts guys. that extra 40gb of memory would be nice but maybe not worth 300Eu.

Wow it is so much more expensive in Europe. In the US you can get te SZ450 for $2099.

    That's true.

That's why I bought SZ450 in USA ($2240 with shipment to NJ) and I'm just waiting for my friend to bring it here, in Europe. $3140 vs $2240, not bad. :D
