    SZ460 Recovery DVD

    Can someone please help me how do I create a recovery dvd for this model SZ460 that I just bought.

    Go to your programs and there should be a program called Vaio Backup Utility. Start the program and one of the options (I beleive the first) will be to create your Sony Backup DVD's. You need two DVD's and about an hour of time.

    can you use the recovery dvd of a 4 series on an sz 3 series?

    FYI, it's bit different in Vista UI.

    I just received SZ450N and looked for Vaio Backup Utility, but couldn't find it. Instead, I had to click on "Help and Support" from Vista UI which pops up help window. From the help window, I was able to find "Launch VAIO Recovery Center" which launches "Vaio Recovery Center" which has "Create Recovery Discs". As I mentioned in my post, I am creating the Recovery Discs :)
