    Hi Guys

I want to add RAM to my new SZ48. I Just did a scan from the Crucial site and it came up with the following:

    Memory: DDR2 PC2-5300
    CPU Family: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00HHz Model 15, Stepping 6
    CPU Speed: 1333 MHz

May be a newb question but does the 1333 MHz have anything to with RAM? Am I good with the following 667 MHz RAM from Kingston or will I be limiting speeds?

    http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/con...k=http://www.kingston.com&ktcpartno=M12864F50

Also is 200 pin the correct one?

    Thanks

The thing is reading your cpu wrong, or you have speedstep enabled which downclocks ur cpu when not in use.

Either way, that speed has nothing to do with the ram that you should get.
Also, don't bother on that ram you mentioned, it's wayyyy to overpriced. Check out newegg.com and get urself a much cheaper, and just as reliable stick of ddr2 200pin 667mhz ram.

Thanks. So you are saying that 667 Mhz RAM is good for my machine?

It's the fastest kind of Ram you can use on your laptop.
