Oy – The GPU is not "more powerful".

It is the same nVidia 7400 w/128 MBs of discrete memory that it has always been. The only difference is that the Vista OS grabs a certain amount of system RAM for it's own purposes as it deems it necessary.

Looky, battery life, up to 4.5 hours, lol??

Looks like Sony is being more honest on their products now...

Slightly off topic. By the way, do you guys noticed that there are VGN-SZ4 50N/C & VGN-SZ4 60N/C? What are the differences? The specs seem to be the same to me... Or did I miss something?

I don't know have you guys noticed but there's also new TX, UX, FE, AR, C and N models.

There arent many new features, Vista and CoreSolo at 1.33GHz on TX and UX are the newest ones, but UX (390N model) now comes with 32GB SSD flash drive and it costs $500 more than same model with 40GB regular 4200rpm drive.

    Something interesting:

    SZ470N/C and SZ491N/X

At first I couldn't fine any differences between that two models ($200 difference !) and I went to comparation table. Here are only two things I found different:

    1. Black Carbon Fiber (470) vs Premium Black Carbon Casing (491)

Is there any difference in quality or is it just different colour and pattern ?

    2. DVD drive - everything is the same except two things. 491 drive does NOT write on DVD-R DL (on + it writes !) and it reads DVD-RAM media on 5X speed (compared to 2X on 470 and other models). Now I'm wondering is it just typing error or does really 491 model has different (better ?) drive than other models...

Yeah, you're right. I must be blind or something.... I went through the specs twice & didn't see the WWAN difference!
