The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I previously was wanting some help with this in the Windows forum page, but got no response from anyone...so, since we're all fellow Vaio users in here - and there's the possibility that it's not a Vista issue but a SZ issue - I'll post the link to it here... http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=174861

    Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. One note; I did recently uninstall and reinstall Ares, and it seems to have fixed the problem (I haven't experienced the same phenomenon again...) but I still would like to know what originally was the cause of the problem. Thanks guys.
