    THe SZ650 is available at many online retailers and is being reviewed. Yet, all the US Sony Store's I called have not heard of it and have no idea when it is coming.

    What gives?

    They're trying to sell out of their SZ4 stock before they start carrying the SZ6. I think your best bet is to either wait a while longer or order from a official reseller.

    This is NOT true. I picked up my SZ6 at a Sony store in Canada last week. Canadian Sony has been often behind the US ones in getting the latest stock, anything. Unless you've asked the wrong question or the wrong salesman who may not bother to check the computer system. Your best bet is walking to one Sony store in person (not phoning around) & ask them to search the system for the "SZ6" term. :)
