    SZ6 horrible camera quality?

    Anyone ever try videoconferencing with their SZ? I've tried using it on skype. The picture quality is horrible and very low fps (choppy). In fact I can't get over 15 frames per second when adjusting all the settings on the vaio camera capture utility. Anyone experience this problem? Any solutions? Does anyone else experience different results using the model 7 webcam on any model VAIO notebook?

    well with my SZ484N, which uses the VCC5 camera I have no problems with the FPS, but I the quality is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! it's a VGA camera! my friend bought a cheap Sony CR notebook aofr half the price i paid for my premium SZ and his comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera which totally craps over my cam!!!!! WTF? is this how Sony rewards their customers who pay for their premium products??????? :mad:

    Well the original C series also used a lower mega pixel camera. I believe the CR was refreshed around the time the 600 series came out and they have the 1.3 megapixel camera.

    but look at it this way, how long have 1.3 mp cameras been out? my SZ which I bought 7 months back and paid 3000 us dollars for doesn't come with a 1.3 mp cam :S
