Im considering buying the docking station for my sz650, but im unsure of it's functionality. I have a 40" hdtv (1080i) and when i connect to it through VGA, the higest resolution it accepts is 1024x768. I was wondering if i used the docking stations DVI output with a DVI to HDMI cable, would it be possible to get the HD signal out of my sz650? Because right now it's nothing to get excited about, but if i could get the HD signal it would be worth spending the $250 on it, thanks

have a same question?
anyone can help? -
As long as your TV supports the HD resolution, you shouldn't have any problems thru the DVI port on the docking station. It can display up to 1920x1200, as well as all the HD resolutions (1080p, 1080i, 720p).
Anyways, if you wanna spend $250 on the docking station, do a search on PriceGrabber, you can get it for a little over $150 and PayPal me the difference.
