This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     SZ6 w/ Dock, keeps reinstalling USB Printer

    I've got a weird problem. When I undock and then redock, the next time usb gets powered down i.e. if i restart or turn on computer then my USB printer reinstalls itself on vista. It's always in the same usb port on the dock. It just adds itself again and then i have two printers in control panel. The old one shows offline and then new one is Brother XXX (1). I always have to keep deleting a printer. This is really annoying.

    Anyone else experience issues like this with SZ dock and USB printer?
