    Hi,

Is it possible to allocate more shared video memory on my SZ650N/C or is it something Sony has blocked? Right now, I have 4Gb or RAM, only 3.2Gb of which is recognized by Windows. I'd like to allocate as much of the remaining memory to the video processor as I can to improve gaming performance. Is this possible?

    Thanks.

There is no point in doing so. Shared video ram will not improve performance by any reasonable margin especially on a dedicated card...

Also, due to the limitations of a 32bit OS...you cannot access those last 0.8GB of RAM. Period.

Even if you could increase the amount of memory used by the GPU, it would take it from the 3.2GB that your OS sees.
