Hi, I am facing the following problem:
When I put the laptop screen down, the screen switches off (pbly some hardware pressure detection). When I lift the screen again, the screen comes on for 1/2 a sec. and turns off again., I need to put it down again, wait for a few seconds and open it again and do this a few times randomly for the screen to come back on. This happens randomly.

FYI, in my power settings, I have "do nothing" when screen is put down. Any ideas ? Where is the hardware pressure point that sony uses to detect if the screen is up or down? I have a SZ650n

    thanks

i sometimes have the opposite problem. i set my monitor to turn off after a certain time but sometimes it'll turn off but then come back on. i had to press "ok" at the monitor off power setting to get it working right. maybe your solution lies in pressing ok again at the power settings
