Yesterday at a SonyStyle store, I was told that the only difference between the SZ680 and SZ650 was the Santa Rosa chip in the SZ650, which the SZ680 does not possess. I'm pretty sure that this is wrong and that the SZ680 DOES have the Santa Rosa chip, so I'm wondering if there are any REAL differences. For example, is a SZ680 configured exactly the same as a SZ650the same? I was just wondering this because I thought that the higher model # of the SZ680 made it superior over the SZ650. Thanks in advance!

Both are Santa Rosa. It looks like the 680 is just the CTO version of the 650.

The 680 is user configurable. Different processors, different drive options, different memory options, wwan if you want Sprint.
