I have a Griffin Expresscard adapter, which permits an SD card to fit flush against the side of the laptop. Questions:

    1. Will the SZ670 read/write SDHC cards?

    2. Via that Expresscard slot, is R/W reasonably fast (assume the chip itself is Class 6 or better)?

    3. Is an SDHC card faster/slower than a Memorystick of the same capacity?

    Thanks!

See this thread regarding SDHC. My Sony G11, with its relatively basic hardware can read SDHC, so I would hope the SZ series also can. However, the SD card reader on the G11 is slower than the cards. You need someone with an SZ to tell you how well the SZ's reader performs.

There are some SSDs designed for the Express Card slot. They might be worth a look.
