    Hi!

Does anybody knows what is the type of the builtin WWAN in the EU models?
    Novatel-Verizon-Sierra Wireless-other?

I have SZ680 and located the WWAN connector on my pcb. It is below the connector of the optical drive connector.

Is there any chance that I can order a wwan module and the needed parts (antenna, cables, etc) to have internal wwan in my notebook?

    Thanks in advance,

    Pdudas

    Planning to use in Hungary.
    3G (HSDPA, 2100Mhz AFAIK).

I need a SP Lock free module with SIM card reader. I have working USB (Huawei E220) and Pcmcia (Option GT max) modems with SIM cards. Now I want an internal module into my SZ680.

Maybe you can tell me if there is a hidden USB port on the SZ680's PCB.
There is so much space below the palmrest (I managed to put the card reader in it (VGP-MCA20A), that I can install a full HSDPA modem above the optical drive (and below the palmrest). I only have to connect it to a Vaio wan antenna and an internal USB port. So: do you know hidden USB port inside the SZ?

Where can I order parts for the SZ680?
