New SZ650N/C. I am a bit worried about this LCD light leakage.. it is only visible when the screen is black, and is worse at the bottom than the top of the screen. Is this degree of leakage normal? It seems a lot of people are reporting this.

Does anyone NOT have light leakage to this extent?

My opinion: completly normal and absolutely no problem.

(Assuming that this picture is taken with settings on maximum brightness)

Everyone complains about this but is there such a thing as NO light leakage? And can you even tell if the screen isn't completely black?

I agree with the above posts.
How would you see that if it weren't completely black?

Yours is odd how you have what looks like an uneven section on the right but if it looks good under normal use its prob fine.

Ok thanks guys I feel better. Yes, I only notice it when the screen is black. In fact, it seems worse when the screen is black on the DOS bootup screen, as compared to full screen black in Windows (with dead pixel tester software).

As far as the right side worse - this is artifact/glare in the picture.
