    Hi There!

Each time I power up my SZ770N, it seems to have reversed the order of the trackpad so left is right and up is down!?? It happens even outside of windows when I boot from WinPE or similar. I have been able to in the past adjust it in the control panel, but since reloading the OS to see if I could fix the problem, with Windows 7 x64, I don't seem to be able to find a trackpad driver that works. If someone could link me into a driver that would be excellent.

It's not a driver issue, it is a hardware issue and a semi well known one at that.
Do a search on here or Google for SZ trackpad reverse.

You have to remove the palmrest and trackpad and put tape between the trackpad and the palmrest. The problem is that both are conductive and send mixed signals. The tape insulates the trackpad from the palmrest.

Is there a way to do this without dismantling the laptop?

Anyone have 64 bit Drivers for the touchpad?

Don't be scared, it's not a big deal.

It's 2 tabs and 7 screws to pull palmrest, I do it all the time. The first time will take you 5 minutes and it's not difficult. Most of that time will be finding the screwdrivers and the tabs to release.

Ground yourself and go for it.
The link in my sig will get you (almost?) every thing you need to put Win7 64bit.
