    What games can I run on the SZ780 on medium settings and playable frame rates? Oblivion? Assasins creed?

    i've got the same thing... but 2.1 and 160g

    i don't even bother using the nvidia card now it slows down the games and the computer heats up badly!

    but with the onboard intel card games run very smoothly (have to put it in "High Performance")

    @D50: WTF?

    @LakerFan: Oblivion on medium assassins creed on low if at all.

    The card will perform better if it has 128 mb dedicated but if it has 64mb expect to run them games at 800 x 600 with low textures and view distance reduced conciderably.

    I got the SZ with the Nividia 8400M GS and it runs Quake 4 (playing atm) very well. The Nividia card has 256mb not 65mb. I've played COD4 and it ran the game very well without lagging. I find that the on board card is hopeless with games. Then again the on board is for stamina and not for games...

    The Nvidia 8400 gs in the SZ is indeed 64MB dedicated onboard. The rest you mentioned are shared memory.
