Ok, I own sz791 vaio and I have to say it is a great laptop. I bougt it when I was in US, in the sonystyle store. (In europe similar setup costs more than 4000us$)
The one thing that I really hate about it is wwan antena. I live in europe and I cant use evdo (only hsdpa), and i really dont need wwan. If I remove antenna there is an ugly hole on my beautiful laptop.
Has anyone replaced antenna with a metal cap sucessfuly, or any other acceptible solution.
I am also willing to offer anyone that can send me this metal cap a good compensation since i doubt that sony support in US will ship it to me in Europe.
(If there is any metal cap to cover a hole anyway - if anybody knows whati is the part number)

Thanks for you help in advance....

I need a cap too. I don't think I'll use the WWAN anytime soon and want to remove the antenna in case it snaps off.

However, when the laptop was on a couple days old the antenna wouldn't stay in place evertime I opened the lid. After a few days use it sits tight against the keyboard and I even forgot it was there.
