I've just realised that my SZ90PS from Dynamism didn't come with the Sony recovery partition, and neither the Recovery s/w on it. My SZ160 does.

Does any one know how I can, at the very least, run a Vaio backup of the whole system to DVD so that I can restore it in case of HDD crash etc.

I know I asked a Q similar to this yesterday, but that was for the SZ160 wi the Sony partition, and not this SZ90.

    Cheers in adv.,
    Z

The VAio backup would be no good since it would reset it to Japanese.

The best thing to do is get something like Acronis True Image or Norton Ghost. I've used both, and have settled on True Image. It's a better program IMHO and worth the $50.

I personally use Acronis True Image. It works very well.
