TBH I cannot see any difference bwteen my SZ90PS (P/Carbon) and the SZ91PS on Dynamism. As for the diff between the 91 and 281P/ X:

The 281P/X has 2.0Ghz CPU, whereas the 91/90 are user configurable, but in Dynamisms case they have 2.16ghz (like my 90 has). Dynamism's you can choose which colour kbd you have (Black or silver), and you have a THREE year guarentee, but the US models only come with one year.

Dynamism's come with 512Mb RAM and Sony's come with 2GB RAM. However, you can pick up cheap RAM from anywhere at cheap prices. Dynamism will ship with 2Gb of memory if you ask.

I had original thought that the 281P/X had the built-in GSM/GPRS?/EDGE card, where are the 91/90 didn't, but it looks like I'm wrong. A shame for the US market really, but I wouldn't be surprised if a version appeared later in Premium Black Carbon with a GSM/EDGE/etc card inside it.

On a sidenote: The sz240 has an engraving service, which is dead cool. Of course one could get it done in an engravers.

I think I would write: Sony. like to bugger :D

Although I couldn't see it at first, if you look at this site it clearlylists the 281P/X with Cingular EDGE network: Wireless WAN: Integrated Wireless Wide Area Network (WAN)14 accessing Cingular Wireless National EDGE Network with SmartWi™ technology (Wireless WAN and Wireless LAN radio do not transmit simultaneously)

    Web site: http://www.learningcenter.sony.us/assets/itpd/notebooks/sz_series/article/specs.html

Why do they not transmitat the same time? I suspect its so that people don't use the laptop as a router for a local network for your mates in while you're camping up a mountain :D (no really, I have no idea, TBH).
