Hi All, I'm new in this great forum.

I recently decide to purchase a Sony VAIO Laptop but confused about different enter button on the same brands: Some VAIO notebooks have a reverse L-Shape enter button on keyboard, but some of the same brands have smaller one-row enter button. (For example I have seen a Core i5 VAIO Z with a reverse L-Shape enter key and another one with the same brand and configuration with the smaller enter button)

Is this difference related to Sony's marketing strategy in different countries and zones or a technical desision?

And, as I prefer L-shape enter button, in which countries/stores I can purchase a VAIO P or VAIO X laptop with this type of enter key?

Thanks a lot for your kindly helps,

    Siavash

Note: Sorry, English is my second language.

The Enter Key (or other keyboard configs) are dependent on the region of the product. The reverse L-key shaped enter key is offered in Europe (If I am not wrong), and the smaller row enter key is offered in the USA.

The US keyboard has a small row enter key, and the Canadian multilingual keyboard (English/French) has a reverse L enter keyboard and a short left shift key.

I don't know for sure, but I suppose some european keyboards also have an L shaped enter key.

Personally, I can't stand the L shaped enter and short left shift key on the Canadian keyboard and refuse to buy any notebook with such a keyboard.

Interesting. I email Sonystyle.com's support and sale team and they said I must go to an official Sony retail store and ask them.

It seems Sony Europe sites (in any languages) forget to use correct picture of their products because there is no image of L shape key on their sites.

Thanks for helps ahsan.mughal and shurcooL.
