:hi2:It looks like everything has been depleted; just a few open boxes are left.

When will this new company that acquired VAIO make an announcement on laptops?

Went to the Palo Alto Sony Store yesterday and saw it empty except for a few left-over Duos. :(

I've had nothing but Sony Laptops since 2003. What will I do? is there such a thing as Sony Laptop addiction, because I think I will need a rehab

If you are willing to hunt around for service and parts - and I think the size of the Sony installed base is such that a cottage industry of third party Vaio service providers will develop and it will likely provide better support than Sony ever did. Thus, if you are jones-ing for a new Sony laptop, go on eBay and buy any of the ironically best product lines they produced in a long time and enjoy anything from a loaded SVZ13 to a snappy Duo 13 or a marathon and featherweight Pro 13and baby it as you did your past wonderful but fragile Vaios and you can expect 3-4 years more of the "life of Sony" (anyone remember 1960 TV show "Life of Riley? :D) There now, do you feel a bit less anxiety now? :)

    Less anxious? a bit ;)
I just checked the vaio page on Sonystyle and it's back up. Still, switching brands will be...hard. The only brands I had before Sony was a Compaq 1995 with 16kb (yes kb) of RAM and a gateway lemon back when they had physical stores all over the place.

CNET mentions that the new VAIO company began selling Pro Series in Japan on 7/1/2014. Can someone please upload/link photos and specs. I'm curious to find out if they will bring back the glory days of the Z,
