    I'm not on my laptop but from what I remember, mine was set to 60hz

    really? that's kind of disappointing :[

    was hoping for 100 Hz because when I play games on my computer at 60 Hz, I usually get insane tearing on my monitor and have to tab in and out to correct it :[

    That's likely not a monitor issue but a graphics card issue.

    Also, the vast majority of laptop displays refresh at 60Hz, with some very very rare ones refreshing at 75Hz.
