I didn't think that is even possible anymore :-S. If you look at the attached pic you can faintly see in the middle the wavey up and down lines of the Vaio logo, my old wallpaper!

Am I seeing things?? Please tell me I am!

    Any ideas?

i'm seeing it to. there was a free utility that randomly cycled all the pixels on your screen (or something like that) that i saw a while back. unfortunately, i don't remember the name of it. i think i saw it somewhere on avsforum. it was supposed to help if you have image retention. although, i don't know if did anything for full-on screen burn.

you could try running a 4:3 movie in fullscreen mode for a couple hours. if it's just image retention, that should clear it up.

note: i read about this stuff a couple years back so my facts may not be up to date. anyone else...please feel free to correct me.

edit: HA! i found that free tool i talked about. available here: http://www.jscreenfix.com/
