This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi, I recently bought a VAIO VGN-FE41M.

    All is well, except than when it wakes up after a sleep the screen resolution is not set at 1280x800 as it should be. If I set it back then it's ok until it sleeps again.

    Any ideas?

    If you are unfamiliar with this machine it has Vista Home Premium pre-installed.
