This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Has anyone got Scrybe to work on a VPCZ1? Ive installed the Synaptics driver suite Synaptics_v15_2_20_C_XP64_Vista64_Win7-64_Signed_Marketing_SGS94_UI-Scrybe.exe and the touchpad works fine. Tapping with 3 fingers brings up the Scrybe window as expected, but nothing works there. :(

    BTW - this is on a clean install of Windows 8 Consumer Preview 64bit.

    I've tried updating the Scrybe driver, but the site doesn't give any download options, and the updater gives an error:

    I dunno. If I recall correctly, Scribe worked here on Windows 7 so it might be a compatibility issue with Windows 8.
