I would like to get a security lock for the FW. Is there a connection on the FW490 to connect a security lock? If so, what is it called? I am very knew to this kind of technology. Thanks.

Hi, most laptops have what is called the "Kensington" lock slot. its a small opening that lets you attach a Kensignton cable lock.

If you look at this picture of the FW from sonys site, just to the right of the "dc-in", that should be the lock slot.
