I was at a SonyStyle store today and fell for the TZ, wow it makes the SZ seem so large! Anyway there were several TZ models but of course I loved the TZ191 with the premium carbon lid and all the bells and whistles including the 32GB SSD. It was priced at $3199 which is definitely more than I'm willing to spend so the sales associate showed me one that was $2899 which had a 5400rpm HD (I forgot the size of the HD or the model # of this one but it did not have the premium carbon lid).
I've been reading posts here from those who have purchased from pricejapan.com and conics.net but I have a few questions.
It seems PriceJapan has the best price but am I right that I can't get a warranty that is good in the US unless there actually is a warranty issue?
When I priced it out from conics the price comes pretty close to what I can get it here in the US for. It says it comes with a 3 year standard warranty but isn't that only good in Japan?
One other question, it seems on conics and pricejapan you can get a 32GB SSD + a 160GB HDD, where does the second HD go?
I appreciate and any advice and info regarding ordering from these sites.

    The 3-year warranty is Japan-only.

The 32GB SSD + 160GB HDD model uses a 1.8" SSD and 2.5" HDD. The 2.5" HDD takes the place of the ODD drive, so you will need to use an external ODD if you want to use any CDs and or DVDs.
