Hi all,
I'm just about to order a Vaio SZ650N from US...well not directly since it's not possible due to "warranty" restrictions. I have to get a friend who is overseas to buy it for me or us services like myus.com to ship it.
In Sweden the Vaio's costs more than twice as much as in US/Japan and that's just stupid!
I know I have to buy an extra ac adapter but is there anything else I have to do/know/check? What about the warranty, can I buy an extra overseas warranty to make it cover Sweden?

Why not directly? I ordered from Techonweb.com they ship to Netherlands (I don't recommend them because they are so slow!). Just keep in mind for EU you have to pay 19% VAT.
If you buy from CompUSA.com you can buy international warranty. Otherwise you can not get int.war. from US Vaio's.
You can get int.war. on Japan imported SZ. Ask Conics.net -
here is Sweden is 25% tax -.-
But still better get from Japan or US.. Couse at Sweden the TZ and SZ cost to much.. to over price.. -
Lucky me, I've got a business...the tax is no problem
