    Hi, I have about $3500 to blow off with to get a new laptop, and this 17" AR series looks good, is it good at a price of $3299?

    hmmm i cant see why you would spend 3299 on such a laptop. other than the RAID config, the screen and the slightly more powerful graphics card, it doesnt seem so different to laptops that go for under 2000 or even 1000.

    Dell, HP and Toshiba offer about the same if not more for alot less. you dont really need RAID, and that screen is way too high to play modern games at decent frames with the go7600GT. you are better off looking at other brands and saving your money. or just wait for better offerings in the santa rosa platform
