Should I connect my Vaio to this powerstrip, that's connected to a surge protector?

I'm not using much electricity. My PC, cable modem, and a power strip are connected to a surge protector.
PC has powersupply of 250W. The surge strip gives power to a CRT monitor, printer, and PC speakers.

Question is, is it safe to connect my new laptop to the powerstrip?

Depends on the electric wiring in your house.

I noticed on my remote controled sockets that they support up to 3000 or 4000W so its basically a lot.
Of the same socket I'm running:
1 laptop, external speakers with subwoofer, 2 external HDDs, one external CD/DVD drive and 2 USB Hub ports which charge devices every no and then...
Sometime I connect an additional laptop... and then there's the desk lamp.

It works fine, so I think it should work. And as its a surge protector it wont mind a slow but steady increase.

If you want to make sure, check your surge protector. It should say how much it supports.
