This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Does anyone know an application that will log and timestamp all the events during the shutdown?

    It sometimes takes up to 5 minutes for my S56GP to shut down.

    I don't want to format and do another install of XP since it is a fine tuned system. I don't have spare 4 hours for another clean install.
