    Hope this doesn't sound too dumb..this forum has been excellent help for SZ owners.

    I wondered if anyone else experiences a problem with the built-in mic?

    As said on other threads, the "Stereo Mix" volume control pertains to the MIC-IN.

    But playing around with the volume control of Stereo Mix and Mic gets me feedback at best and nothing at all at worst. That's regardless of whether volume from the speakers is adjusted. Any advice?

    And what do the "Microphone Boost" and "Mixer" options actually do in the CODEC?
