You can't post comments on that problem response blog anymore. For some reason it has been disabled. The last comment on that blog gives a link to the original Toshiba driver that came with the Vaio, and presents it as a solution, when in fact that is not a solution. Sony has not made a solution so far, after at least 1 year. Sony is aware of this issue but for some reason they are not meeting their obligation to their customers.

Toshiba made an update to this driver for Toshiba computers, which works on Sony too, but expires after 30 days. Sony should make a patch for this or fix this issue somehow but for some reson they have not. I talked to many support reps and customer service reps and many of them are incompetent, or try to weazel their way out of doing their job, or say there is no update, or wait for an update. It's been over one year, and in some forums I see this problem may have been reported long before. That is too long to go without a bluetooth and have to deal with constant crashes from an expensive Sony Vaio. Why do Toshiba computers have a solution since over 1 year ago, but Sony Vaio does not? It seems there are no plans in Sony to solve this issue.

Sign up here if you have experienced this error. Maybe we can put pressure on Sony to meet their obligation, or file a class action lawsuit.
